Object Graphics Verboten on VM UNIX Platforms

Description of Behavior: IDL programs using object graphics will not run on UNIX
versions of the IDL Virtual Machine (VM).

Example Code:

Know Workarounds or Fixes: There has been some reported success by forcing
IDL to use software rendering when running the application. This does not seem to 
work in all cases.
