The Catalyst Library is an Open Source programming project, hosted at
http://idl-coyote.googlecode.com.

The Catalyst Library is an object-oriented framework for producing
IDL applications. It is written entirely in the IDL (Interactive
Data Language) and depends completely on the Coyote Library also
being installed and located on your IDL path. (The Coyote Library
should appear *before* the Catalyst Library on your IDL path.)
The Coyote Library can also be found at http://idl-coyote.googlecode.com.
